Digital Health Implementation

Bahmni

We collaborate with Bahmni, which integrates OpenMRS, OpenELIS, and Odoo to provide a comprehensive EMR solution. Additionally, we deploy NepalEHR, a tailored version of Bahmni customized for Nepali healthcare needs, which is currently operational at various sites across the country.

Bahmni is a user-friendly and comprehensive Hospital Information System (HIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) designed to help hospitals in low-resource environments. It’s an open-source solution that uses existing open-source products to provide tailored healthcare solutions.

Allspark Technology is equipped with the necessary expertise to handle the implementation of Bahmni’s open-source electronic health record system, Commcare’s mobile platform, and DHIS2’s data visualization platform, having previously worked on NepalEHR.

Open MRS

OpenMRS, short for Open Medical Record System, is a free and open-source electronic medical record (EMR) platform designed to improve healthcare delivery in resource-constrained settings worldwide. Developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals and technologists, OpenMRS enables healthcare providers to efficiently collect, manage, and analyze patient data to inform clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.

OpenMRS is a powerful and flexible EMR platform that empowers healthcare providers to deliver better care by leveraging technology to effectively manage patient data, streamline clinical workflows, and promote interoperability across healthcare systems. With its open-source nature and community-driven development model, OpenMRS remains at the forefront of the global movement to improve healthcare access and quality for all.

Community Health Toolkit

The Community Health Toolkit (CHT) is a comprehensive digital platform designed to empower frontline health workers and communities in delivering essential healthcare services, particularly in low-resource settings. It comprises a suite of customizable, open-source tools that facilitate various aspects of healthcare delivery, including patient data management, health education, service delivery tracking, and communication among healthcare providers and communities.

The CHT aims to address health disparities by providing tailored solutions that can be adapted to diverse contexts and community needs. By leveraging mobile technology, the CHT enables health workers to efficiently collect and manage patient data, track health indicators, and deliver targeted interventions directly at the point of care. This digitization of healthcare processes not only enhances the efficiency and accuracy of service delivery but also enables real-time monitoring and evaluation of health programs.
